As one speaker said, "My view of God just got bigger." Inspiring addresses by Drs Perkins & Haynes, heartfelt, moving confessions by several others, small group prayer, powerful worship led by the choir and worship team. But in the midst of all the inspiration and good intentions, I appreciated Pastor Merriweather's blunt caution: we don't need just another reconciliation prayer meeting--we need sustained, determined movement toward true unity in the Body of Christ. Let's keep it going! What an evening!
